Ernie 'bout covered everything. I will add that both of these control systems I provided links for above will work fine. (Provide your own PSX/PS2 controller with option one.)
Either ZSNES or SNES9X will map the buttons any way you wish. Vista and WinXP do not require drivers. The emulators will auto-detect them.
Notice in the picture than the PSX adapter will accept two controllers.
I am trying to set up for playing Lennus and Feda on a Gamecube. This involves loading SNESGX.dol into a working file, then using an Action Replay link to transfer codes, ROMs, and the emulator to an SD card or miniDVD. I'm trying this with something called a Gecko, which fits into the memory card slot on a Gamecube and accepts a standard SD chip that holds up to two gigabytes. I imagine two gigs will carry a fair number of SNES ROMs! Not sure if this will work with a ROM having no header, yet.
Bounds? Well, I guess we have two "bounds" around here. One is to have fun. The other is follow the Golden Rule (unless you're a masochist, hee-hee...!).
